about this typeface

Murdja (beast of prey, predator in Estonian) is a typeface inspired by Estonian folklore and wilderness. Characteristically irregular and sharp letterforms mirror the wintry undergrowth of Nordic woodlands. The unapologetically wild nature of the font makes it suitable for some of your more edgy projects that benefit from rougher aesthetics. Moreover, influenced by folklore and Runic letters, Murdja could very well complement ethnic designs.
